Inspired by Skrillex, Bennett Lewis has been DJing and producing experimental styles of hard dance music for over twelve years. Beginning in his hometown of Greensboro, North Carolina, his talents eventually landed him in the Clive Davis Institute of Recorded Music at NYU. While New York allowed him to expand his creative horizons far more than before, it was not until a six month stay in Berlin that shit got real.  

Exposure to the industrial, hardcore, and forward thinking music scene sustained by the Berlin underground spawned sonofmidi - a hybrid DJ/pop act specializing in hard genres of dance music combined with catchy pop/punk/emo songwriting, spinning genres from drum and bass, to trap, dubstep, riddim, hardstyle, bass house, house, and, of course, hard techno. Known for his compelling stage presence and intense energy brought in each of his sets, sonofmidi is a name to be remembered at any event.
